The Place of Prayer

At Emmanuel, we want to seek God and pursue His presence — we want to raise the place of prayer in our lives and community. We mean prayer in its broadest sense, including worship. This is about seeking after God and dwelling in His presence. 

In light of our vision, prayer is where we meet with Jesus; prayer is where we encounter God’s life-transforming presence; as we pray, we are promised His peace; and it is in His presence, we become fully alive — we flourish.

Prayer and Worship Events

Sunday Evening Prayer

On Sunday evenings, Emmanuel gathers together for an hour, 8:00pm - 9:00pm, at the Emmanuel Offices to lift our voices, prayers and intersessions to God. Everyone is welcome, and we would love for you to join us.

The Gathering

The Gathering is a time and space once a month for all members of Emmanuel to join together midweek on a Wednesday evening to devote to either Worship, Prayer or Equipping. We meet together at the Emmanuel Offices from 7:45pm - 9:30pm.
